Soft wheat Farina Intera
Farina Intera® is a type "0" wheat flour that has the appearance and organoleptic properties of refined white flour, however it does not cause adverse health effects. Its value lies in the greater bioavailability of soluble fibres. These are a particular class of dietary fibre known to have properties that control the absorption of fats and sugars into the blood and significantly reduce rising postprandial glucose levels (European Food Safety Authority).
On average, the content of soluble fibre found in Farina Intera® is 30% higher than wholemeal flours, thanks to its patented, natural production method.
